کشمیر پریمیئر لیگ سیزن 2 کا آغاز رواں سال اگست میں متوقع ہے اور اس دفعہ ایونٹ میں ایک اور ٹیم کا اضافہ کیا گیا ہے اور اب ٹورنامنٹ میں سات ٹیمیں حصہ لیں گی ۔ٹورنامنٹ کی ڈرافٹنگ عید الضحیٰ کے بعد ہوگی جبکہ کے پی ایل میں نئی شامل ہونے والی فرنچائز جموں جانباز ہے۔

رپورٹس کے مطابق پاکستان کر کرٹ بور نے کشمیر پریمئیر لیگ سیزن 2 کا این او سی جاری کردیا ہے۔

جموں جانباز، راولاکوٹ ہاکس، مظفرآباد ٹائیگرز، باغ اسٹالینز، میرپور رائلز، کوٹلی لائنز اور اوور سیز واریئرز شامل ہے۔
